but i think this vacation was a full time for me.
i worked hard in ski resorts and saved money for a travel.
then,i visited Beijing for just five days. i was puzzled about to communicate poeple. but i enjoyed there somehow...
i went sightseening in the Great Wall and so on,so mainly looked around the world heritages.

| Efforts to eradicate the use of landmines are succeeding,but thousands of people were still killed or injured by them last year.The Landmine Monitor report says 8065 deaths and injuries were reported ,but it says the most of them go unreported.
A total of 143 countries have ratified a 1999 treaty banning landmines,however,they exclude the US,Russia and China.The report says that 65countries have destroyed their stockpiles of landmines in the five years since the Ottawa treaty took force.
The number of landmines are certainly getting to decrease,but the speed of a drop is slow because many countries haven't still ratified the treaty,and they have still have held about millions of landmines.
When I visited Cambodia,I met the victims and looked around the area,where people are working to clear of land mines.Then I felt scared in my heart,and I knew the difficulty of such a dengerous in spite of landmines being so easy to bury.I think Japan should support damaged countries more and more as Japan is one of the countries,which made landmines.Landmines continue to result in lots of damage after the war was over,too. So I hope landmines are never made and used.

| I really like to travel,and to eat foods,which can eat only the place.So it's pleasure for me to experience new foods in traveling abroad and inland. When I visited Cambodia,I enjoyed eating the meal,which isn't used to eat in Japan,like a herb and a coconut milk.Then I also like to eat a foreign food in inland.
But I think Japanese food,especially staple foods,is most tasty.Although I feel pasta is as delicious as sushi,when i came back to home from a trip,i always want to eat my taste.

Far from the glitz and glamour of China's booming cities,Guizhou province is home to many of the country's ethnic minorities.One group is called the Miao who live in mountain areas in the northern part of Thailand,Laos,Vietnam and the southern part of China.
Yang Cangkun is Miao.The Miao are a people whose culture is different from that of the Han Chinese,who make up 92% of China's population.He wishes that he could earn money by teaching local Miao children about their own culture.But like most people here,he has to leave the village because the government built a dam without paying any compensation to the people.So,the village will be flooded beneath a reservoir for a massive hydro-electric project by the Gov.Yang said,"we're quite backward here and no one from here has ever gone to work in the Gov at the provincial level." Politically and geographically the Miao feel marginalised.
Yang Kairao,from the education department,said relations between the Miao and the Gov couldn't be closer.Then,he said,"ethnic minority groups like the Miao work under the relationship of the Communist Party and the Gov.And the relationship is extremely close."
On the other hand,the traditional clothes also present a problem.Young people don't wear them much because they take so much time and money to make them.The clothes just don't make economic sense.
In that way,the Miao seem to die by the power of the majority and the change of the age.To achieve rapid growth as a country,a important cultures may disappear.In Japan too,the traditional culture,like textiles,teeters on the brink because it's too hard for young people to work,and there's nobody to carry on the tradition.I think the Gov should protect the culture as a property of the country.If we leave behind traditional culture,it will die. | | comments: 2 comments or Leave a comment |

Some people stop buying the cans of tuna at the store.The company who sells the tuna maybe that dolphins are killed when they get the tuna.
Fishermen will get help from the canning company. They will help change the way they catch the tuna.
About 26 boats must change the way they fish for tuna.And people buying the new cans of tuna also must pay more money.These changes will save the lives of many dolphins.

Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi said Japan is considering keeping its troops in Iraq beyond December 14,the originally planned end of their mission.In the upper house budget committee,he told that Japan should continue helping Iraq in line with UN resolutions which call for international assistance to the war-torn country.
Iraq's interim government including its president,Ghazi al-Yawar,has been regarding Japanese troops in Iraq highly,Koizumi said when asked about the possibility of extending the time limit.
Despite widespread objections at home,he is rulling coalition rammed through a law to send troops to Iraq on a humanitarian and reconstruction mission from last Dec,the first Japanese military deployment,which has been criticised as a violation of Japan's pacifist constitution,since WW2 in a country where fighting was under way.
For US president George W. Bush,Koizumi was a backer of the invasion of Iraq.

| On 10 Oct,i went to f1 japan grand prix with my brother. In japan,the typhoon has come on 9 Oct, but it gone by 10 Oct.
So it was sunny on Sunday,we enjoyed watching the race.It was fantastic!!!!
The sound and the speed of f1 machines have power,and i moved.
Takuma Sato,who is a only japanese driver of F1,was the 4th place.Honda team got the 3rd place and the 4th place,therefore,they made most of the audience happy.

| Day after tomorrow,i'm going to see F1 japanese grand prix in Suzuka with my brother. i'm exciting.
But now, a typhoon come to japan,so it maybe rain on Sunday. i hope it will be sunny onnthe day.
F1 is one of the great sports,and just only a person can ride on the machine of F1.However many technicians support a racer and a conpany.

| Last Saturday,i meet two thai,who came to Japan to study each technical field by JICA.
i introduced them Kyoto city,like KIYOMIZU-temple,YASAKA-sharine and so on.They enjoyed electrical stores and japanese traditional market,which named NISHIKI-market.I also enjoyed,and we took many pictures.they were diligent and curious,so they asked me the name of place,where we visited,then they noted the name down.
